South Asian Fashion Week (SAFW), launched during New York Fashion Week in September 2022, is an initiative that will bring together South Asian designers from across the world to the global fashion stage in New York City. SAFW has been established as a pioneer to showcase and uplift South Asian fashion inspired by traditional and modern South Asian attire and culture.
South Asian Fashion Week (SAFW) will be hosted February 7-16, 2025 with access to awe-inspiring runway shows categorized by streetwear, sustainability, menswear, traditional, bridal, and Indo-western styles. The showcase of designs will be influenced by designers across the South Asian Diaspora. The event will be held in New York City, one of the primary fashion capitals in the world. With an expectedly high projected audience and increased participation from leading enthusiasts from the South Asian fashion industry, SAFW has shaped into a worldwide platform involving influencers, celebrities, icons, and others expressing their interest in South Asian design, fashion, and culture.
SAFW’s Board of Advisors was created to provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the SANYFW executive team.
